i'm like laughing & crying now.
laughing due to brenda's darn hilarious entry on zone comp (
http://complicated-abc.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html),
and crying due to flashbacks of compteam.

I really really really enjoyed my days back then.
really.
even when i was still having grudge against bernie, i'm happy too.
hahha, you might say i'm nuts.

Oh, i rmb that day on our mock comp, the back then Sgt Wenbin switched my post with bernie.
So, i'm number 3 for a day.
I really hate bernie back then, but now i realised, i'm so childish!
Haha, i created so much trouble for my trainers, and, now i regreted it.

That every day, 1st april,
i guess it was the nervous-est day in my life.
At first when we all fall-in, i'm darn nervous.
Beside us was nanhua & hwachong.
oh gosh, but i look at nanhua, cheewee was inside there too, holding a Ssgt Rank.
But me (Lcp at that time), was thinking, I WANNA BEAT THEM!
Then, we was assigned as AA2.

In the waiting room, we really waited for such a long time.
Kahmeng kept reminding us on those small details to take note of.
Then, got this Henderson corp AC team reported back.
I overheard their conversation:
#02: "Walao! The judge told me no pulse no breathing, how i know what to do?!"
I was like, HAHA!
He was a number TWO leh!

Finally, it was our turn.
First segment, footdrill.
We marched out of the room, to see Ssgt Aishah & Weiqi sitting outside.
Ssgt Weiqi: "I heard that Xinmin's AA is very good!"
Ssgt Aishah: "Yah!"
Haha, obviously that was to encourage us, for they cant communicate directly with us.
Then, we marched out.

Out there, I had a shock.
So many supporters from Xinmin!
Sir Siyong & Sir Goh (now in NPCC) was there too.
Obviously, OCT WenBin.
We started on procedure, then come pacing part.
For some reasons, it was real lousy.
Everyone was doing at their own timing.
I was darn nervous.
I looked up, and saw OCT WenBin dropped his tears.
Suddenly, i started to think of losing.

But, somehow again, i took control of my emotions.
Then we marched, everything was perfect afterwards.
Solid bangs.
so, we got 46/50. (:

Next segment, FA Short Case.
Nervous as well, a lot of seniors were down there supporting us.
It was a 2 men case,
everything seems to happen so fast.
Just rmb that the judge is so weird, say that the nearest telephone is either "somewhere far away" or "find it yourself".
I couldn't rmb exactly.
But what i do was, run to the extreme end, and shouted.
So many ppl looking at me!

After the case ended, the judge's face is darn serious.
He told us tat we misdiagnosed, and therefore mistreated.
That really really demoralised us.

3rdsegment, TOC.
The judge (that ambulance uncle), told tianrong why not command in English.
Be unique. I was like, HUH? LOL.
It was this part where my decision conflict with bernie's.
First time we had a 2 men casualty case.
Then, our casualty was just unable to walk on his own.
No apparent injuries. (Huh right?)
Then, i wanted to assist him back to the ambulance, but bernie said to follow the stretcher team.
So, i follow.
Lucky.
Phew, we gotten 32/50.
The judge pointed out some mistakes as well.
Afterwards, we went to toilet, to wash up.
At that point of time, i'm so scared.
Then we said that, its okay if we didnt win.
Just do our best.
That made me hold back my tears.

Last segment, FA Long case.
We marched out of the room, and a person hold us back at the staircase and told us to wait.
So down there, we all just said, "huo zhu qu le! Lets go!"

The judge is a real weird one.
After tianrong dispatched us to various casualties, we started with our 1st min assessment and all.
Suddenly, the female judge said: "Stop! One by one"
Then, i was beside lionel, waiting for her.
Weird.
Anyway, the casualty simulation is kinda lousy i rmb.
Its a close fracture, and the CS is real lousy.
Thoughout the case, the judge kept saying "Good! Excellent!"
I was about t tie a neck brace, and she said: "Oh good! I know what you wanted to do. Just carry on! No need to tie the neck brace!"
...
After the case, we marched back to the waiting room, real happy.
And, we smiled at NC.

Finally, waiting for the results @ the hall.
I think my heart almost jump out of my mouth.
On my left was all the seniors.
OCT WenBin looked so worried.
Sir Joshua announced the NC results first.
The OHP was sodusty & blur, so i cant really look out for the marks.
"The first goes to Xinmin!"
AHH!
Screamings, screamings, and sreaming.
I can't think properly.
I turned around and saw NC hugging each other.

Next moment, "For NA, the first also goes to Xinmin!"
Omg.
The applaudes got even louder.
"Will AA win?" was my thought.

Shortly after, it was AC's result.
I had a shocked, cause i thought it was AA and why the top 3 did not consist of xinmin.

Lastly, AA.
Yah, went to hwachong.
My mind went blank.
Ssgt Vivian came hugging me.
Everything seems so...

I dont know how to describe my feelings at that moment.
We went to change, and kahmeng broke down.

I dunno how to console myself.
On the way back, i really feel like crying.


Its all over,
but he most impt thing is that, during the process, i learned a lot.
